Product Description
12Cr1MoV is a widely used steel grade for boiler superheaters, headers and main steam ducts in high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, and subcritical power stations. At 580°C, it still has high thermal strength and oxidation resistance, and has high long-lasting plasticity. The production process is simple and the welding performance is good, but it is sensitive to the normalization cooling rate. Long-term use at 580°C will produce the second type of tempering brittleness caused by the segregation of impurity elements such as phosphorus at grain boundaries. Long-term use can also cause pearlite spheroidization. This steel is mainly used after normalizing and high-temperature tempering, and is used to manufacture superheated steel pipes, conduits, serpentine pipes and other corresponding forgings in high-pressure equipment with a working temperature of no more than 570 °C.

Packing and Shipping
